Supporting  Missions  Through Bethel

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing ... teaching... and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age." Matt. 28:19

"... and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem (Columbus), in all Judea and Samaria (U.S.A.), and to the ends of the earth (world-wide)" Acts 1:8

As our Lord Jesus took the form of a servant in order to show us the Father, so also we at Bethel Presbyterian Church are called to serve others and to share the Good News. Our commitment to the Great Commission includes meeting human needs, exemplifying God's work in our own lives, and presenting Christ as Savior and Lord with a call to faith and obedience.

We seek to be "salt and light" in our neighborhood, our nation, and the global community. We challenge adults, youth, and children to respond to God's love, grace, and call to discipleship through prayer, service, tithe, personal encouragement, and witness to others. Currently we are contributing to the support of missionaries and mission agencies whose names appear and many others who do not appear in this record of Bethel’s ACTS FACTS!

Ten Ways To Pray For Your Missionaries:

From Neal Pirolo’s book, "Serving as Senders”,

Pray for missionaries…

  1. To be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and understanding.
  2. To walk worthy of the Lord, pleasing to Him in all respects.
  3. To be fruitful in every good work.
  4. To increase in their knowledge of God.
  5. To be strengthened with all might according to God’s glorious power.
  6. To attain steadfastness and patience with joy.
  7. That they will give thanks to the father in all things.
  8. That they will be protected from the enemy’s schemes, the deceitfulness of sin, illness, deportation and anything else that could hinder the Lord’s work.
  9. That Muslim-background believers will seek out missionaries and local believers for Bible study, worship, prayer and leadership training.
  10. That Muslims will be drawn to Christ through the workers’ faithful witness.
